An increased rate of Vietnamese travellers come to visit Japan

Japan has become the most favoured place for Vietnamese tourists, including men and women, according to the Korea Times. Tokyo, the capital of Japan, projected to set up an Olympic, which attracts a huge amount of foreign visitors to 40 million.


The rising number of direct flights between Japan and Vietnam, which attracts lots of Japanese coming to Da Nang, one of Vietnam’s cities. Bamboo Airway found the direct flight has increased by over 18 times from 2011 to 2017.




Vietnamese tourists trends


The table below displays the most favourite activities in Japan from Vietnamese tourists.



Go sightseeing and explore culture are the preferred factors in choosing travel destinations, reaching 48% and 43% respectively.


Vietnamese tourists tend to read Japan’s information on the website, Facebook, and follow their friends to purchase their favourite destination, the survey found. Additionally, most of the tourists travel to Japan for shopping with over 1.23 trillion JPY, plus accommodation with approximately 950 billion JPY. In recent years, Vietnamese travellers would like to explore new experiences in Japan, including skiing and staying with locals.

Conclusion


Japan proposes to build its infrastructure system, and offer wireless networks to the major tourist’s destinations, and develop the travel industry through the use of modern technology. Besides, Vietnam plans to extend a visa exemption for Japanese from 15 to 30 days, which can improve the inbound customer rates.
